Top 5 Signs You Are A Weight Watcher On Halloween

We are officially entering into the holiday eating season, which in real life lasts until New Year’s. In our lives it has been known to last until the first time we have to put on a bathing suit.

But not anymore y’all.

We are in Weight Watchers mode, because we have been doing the program since June.

One of us Lisa is doing really well on the plan. We’ll just leave it at that.

So, chances are if you see both of us Lisa tonight you can expect she will be doing this!

  1. congrats Lisa on doing so well with the program!! I can totally relate to the water issue. I can’t tell you guys how many trips I make to the bathroom daily!! :)

  2. Ba ha ha! Love this! But you need to upgrade that pedometer to a Garmin. They come in really cool colors & designs - perfect accessory to go with Ariel’s shells!

  3. I have been know to step on my own scale, get off, shake the scale and get back on, certain that the act of shaking re-calibrated the scale to the correct (several pounds lighter) weight. Funny thing, it never seems to work.
Keep up the good work Lisa! You too, Ashley!

  4. This cracked me up. I did Weight Watchers during the holiday season last year and these are spot on. The 2pt candy one is so, so true. Good for you guys for sticking with it at this time. I am pretty sure I told myself that the Christmas cookies were only 2pts because I made them smaller.

  5. Cute! Totally made me giggle! I am glad that you are doing well with your program, Lisa. Anything like that I ever try I always bomb at eventually even if I start out doing great. It’s a horrible roller coaster ride for me. I do best working on portion sizes and only eating when I’m hungry, but even that can be a chore some days, ya know? Anyway, best of luck to you both on WW! :)

  6. Woo, congrats, Lisa! I bought Halloween candy yesterday *in case* we get any tricky-treaters (doubtful) and of course I immediately ate two of them myself yesterday. I’m gonna use the pregnancy as an excuse 😉 But seriously, keep up the awesome work!

  7. Congrats, Ashley on admitting you are still sticking with it. Even though Lisa is getting better results that doesn’t mean you aren’t doing a great job and you know every body type is different. Now you have announced to the blog world you aren’t sticking to it closely, you are NOW accountable. We will be watching and checking in on YOU!! You can do it, gurl. I KNOW IT!!!

  8. Congrats on doing so well, Lisa. I’m sure Ashley will do better, I have confidence in her. If either of you want to get rid of tempting candy, send it here.

  9. This holiday eating phase (that lasts til January) really does me in! And thanks for the reminder to drink more water!!

  10. Ha! Funny list! Love #5! I know for a fact that the scale at the doctor’s office adds 7 lbs!

Meanwhile, I easily set all the clocks in the house and car ahead 5 minutes so I can feel like I have a little more time to get where I’m going. Why can’t I set the scale back 5 lbs so I can feel a little skinnier? Scale manufacturers — pay attention to this idea! It is a FREE idea and women everywhere will LOVE you!

  11. Glad that Weight Watchers is going well - I’m sure that Ashley is doing better than she is letting on!!!
Man, you could really add up the steps tonight while trick-or-treating - your kids aren’t going to know what’s going on if you just keep going and going!!

  12. Oh man Good for you gals!! Although I try to eat healthy and really watch what I take in for the most part… TODAY is not one of those days where that happens!!! LOL… so I have to say CONGRATS on the will power today! ~Leah~

  13. I hope you ladies have a fun trick-or-treat. But make sure and reward yourselves too. Even though candy translates to points, running around fetching it has to count for something! I love your list. Happy Halloween!

  14. Weight Watchers is what helped me finally shake the baby weight from my first kid, so I will always have the warm fuzzies for the WW. Good job to both of you for sticking with it since June! This list had me panicking that one of the trick or treating neighbors may want to use my bathroom. Maybe I should go clean it real quick.

  15. This is so cute. I’ve done the Weight Watchers thing. I don’t have enough patience to count or add points or any of those other things. Of course, that could be why I’m still overweight. :(

Lisa, congrats, and keep at it. If you’ve last this long then you’re strong enough to reach whatever goal you’re after.

  16. Haha! I can honestly say that no candy has entered this piehole tonight (yet…there’s still a good half hour until I pass out!).

  17. I do the bathroom thing but because of coffee. It is my drink of choice. I need to get on something. Walking the neighborhood tonight about killed me.. of course a messed up back doesn’t add to the lack of enjoyment either.

  18. Y’all, we did pretty well…I mean Lisa did. I am sure the pile of Kit Kat wrappers next to me is no indication of my Weight Watchers success! 😉

  19. Well, congrats to one of you….(Lisa) for being dedicated on the program! Kudos to the both of you but that’s hilarious!

Yesterday. all I had for the trick or treaters was organic almonds, protein powder and some flaxseed. ummmm yum!

    xoxo,
    KG

  20. Cute! I’ve been there done that and ultimately decided that no matter what diet I’m on, I’m taking Halloween off!
